CEO and founder of Landmark Builders: Orlan Sorensen
Orlan remembers having a passion for designing and building homes since childhood. He graduated from Montana State University with a BA in business. In 1976 this third generation builder began his career by starting Lincoln Log Homes Inc. The corporate name was later changed to Landmark Builders to adapt the business name to the many architectural styles that Orlan was asked to build. Designing and building homes all over Montana eventually lead to moving our permanent headquarters to the Flathead Valley in 1991. The popularity of Whitefish, Bigfork, Lakeside and Kalispell has afforded opportunities to design and build high-end homes for clients with various architectural tastes. Satisfying these tastes is a rewarding challenge and requires constant research into new products and technology.
All of your building needs can be satisfied under the Landmark roof. We also will be happy to work with your own designers. Orlan and son-in-law Jon Marinaccio are directly involved in the entire building process and provide homeowners a direct line of communication. Certified welders, log smiths, cabinet installers, finish and framing carpenters are valued staff employees that handcraft each home and invent the wheel frequently in order to accomplish the needed design elements. We have a dedicated interest in fulfilling our client’s wishes.
Our goal is to create your dream home in a timely, professional and friendly atmosphere. Looking for cost effective solutions to your construction needs is our priority, always keeping your financial investment carefully monitored. You are encouraged to contact previous clients and read through our testimonials.
